Pornography constantly robs us of our joy in life.
We are here to combat life’s struggles by providing users an outlet to talk with someone who cares.
We often think of watching porn as a light-hearted matter. We use excuses like “everyone does it at some point” or “I am not addicted to it, I just enjoy it”. No one often sees the severity porn has on our emotional, psychological, or spiritual state. When we indulge in the “pleasure” of pornography we subject ourselves to a dullness in desiring another person in our life, whether that is a wife, husband, or future spouse. Our emotional state changes drastically, as well. We don’t look at the opposite sex in the same way, thoughts of sexual desires enter our minds, and on some cases the preserved value of another persons emotions, physical appearance, or general well-being is lowered. On a spiritual side of the issue, God is clear, through the teachings of Jesus, the actions of sexual immorality are not only certainly not tolerated but punishable by an eternal damnation. All of which, leaves us with an entirety of pain, suffering, without the possibly of escape.
You have heard that it was said, “You shall not commit adultery.” But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart. – Matthew 5:27-28
